CHEESE TASTING AT CASEIFICIO "PEPE 1924" in costigliole d'asti

Driving through Costigliole d’Asti towards Villa Perla right before you enter the vineyards you will pass right by Caseificio Pepe 1924. Please do stop immediately if you can and buy their fresh cheeses and yochurts so you are set for your stay :-). Otherwise; don’t worry it’s just a 10min drive away :-).

These cheeses are heaven on a plate. You can choose from the best local cheeses and classics such as Mozarella, Nodini & Burrata. We ourselves always buy 2 burrata’s: one to eat in Villa Perla and the other one to bring with us to Pisa.

The good news is you can also organise a very nice cheese tasting; it’s still on our own bucket list but we are very much looking forward to enjoying this moment!

Some more details about the cheese tastings:

  • The tasting of the fresh cheeses and local products is paired with a glass of wine from the region.
  • The duration of the tour and tasting service is approximately one hour.
  • The cost is €20 per person and possible for groups of at least 4 people.
  • Visits are preferably carried out in the morning from Wednesday to Friday (subject to availability) and start at 9-9.30.
  • For larger groups, it could possibly also be arranged on Saturday or Sunday but please contact the shop in advance.
