First of all: vi auguriamo un Felice Anno Nuovo!

 

We hope you had a pleasant Christmas and NY! We spent the holidays with family and friends in Piemonte, went to explore the area and visited a couple of ski areas in the vicinity. Later on we will dedicate a seperate blogpost about some of the ski areas near Villa Perla. 

During this period we also did a lot of work in the house with assembling new furniture, cleaning outside, etc…. Last project is to plant the garden in spring and finish decorating the last rooms of Villa Perla 🙂

2022 was a very hectic year with a lot of unforeseen circumstances and delays during the renovation works of Villa Perla and our private part. Due to these circumstances we were forced to delay the opening of Villa Perla until this year so we could bring it up to a higher standard and to our liking. We thank everyone that visited us last summer, the support we received. We are especially also very grateful for all our neighbours! They already helped us out in so many ways, made us feel very welcome, and their incredible wines also kept our spirits up 😉

Practically speaking we are also delighted to announce our partnership with CASA! Hospitality Piedmont. Andrea and his team will take care of our guests and Villa Perla during the season and are looking forward to welcoming you. Also, in September we moved from Piemonte to Pisa for Benny’s work the next 4-5 years. It meant we had to move house again, look for a new school for the kids, etc… So we will not be in Piemonte (unless it’s to see our own family and friends when they stay in the holiday house ;-).
